RELIGIOUS AND political intolerance seem to have their foundation in a certain human mindset that seeks to dictate to others and lord it over them. To this mindset, religion seems to contribute in large measure.

“There is one God – Jehovah, and Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son who perfectly reveals His character.” The truth is not the Bible; the truth is in the Bible.
God is good; God is love. God is not wicked and selfish (as popular religions make Him out to be).
